About Stephen Bauer
Stephen Bauer has over 35 years' experience advising high school juniors and seniors on their college plans. In addition to working with families from Westchester and Fairfield Counties in his Larchmont office, he serves clients across the country and abroad via telephone and email. Locally, in recent years he has worked with students from Ardsley, Blind Brook, Bronxville, Byram Hills, Eastchester, Edgemont, Fox Lane, Greenwich, Harrison, Hastings, Horace Greeley, John Jay, Mahopac, Mamaroneck, New Rochelle, Pelham, Rye, Rye Brook, Rye Neck, Scarsdale, Sleepy Hollow, White Plains; Fordham Prep, Holy Child, Iona Prep, Regis, Sacred Heart, Ursuline; Brunswick, Fieldston, Greenwich Academy, Hackley, Harvey, Horace Mann, Masters, Ramaz, Riverdale, Rye Country Day, Solomon Schechter of Westchester, Thornton Donovan, and Westchester Hebrew High School.
Dr. Bauer has served as Executive Director of the British American Educational Foundation and has taught writing and literature and counseled students at The College of William and Mary, Rutgers University, and Manhattanville College. He has served on the Board of Directors of the INSEAD Management Education Foundation, the Harrow School Foundation, and the University Club of Larchmont.
He received his A.B. from Hamilton College and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Columbia University.
